Metro Line A runs between the city Vlaardingen, and Binnenhof, in the north-east of Rotterdam. It forms a connection between the west, the city centre and the east. On maps, the colour of line A is green.
The route of Metro A
When starting in the west, line A stops in Vlaardingen and Schiedam, and then first stops at Marconiplein where you can exit for Parkboulevard and The Roof park. Then the metro stops near the Historic Delfshaven District and later at Dijkzigt, near the hospital Erasmus MC and The Museum District.
In the city centre, the most-used stops are Eendrachtsplein (near Witte de Withstraat), Beurs (shopping area Beurstraverse) and Blaak (Cube Houses, Markthal, Oude Haven). At Blaak Station there are connections with trains towards Dordrecht and Den Haag/The Hague.
When driving towards the east of Rotterdam, the most important stations are Kralingse Zoom (near the Erasmus University), Capelsebrug and Alexander. At Alexander, there are connections with trains towards Gouda and Utrecht.Back to Transport
